Matching dress Shirts and Pants

I was searching for a good site that will help me figure out the various shirt-pant color combinations.But as I dint find any valuable information I figured it out by myself. I will suggest some dress color combinations for men here.If you have any good combinations please do comment.
First I will go with formal wear. The common combintion is light blue with black pants. But I prefer wearing light blue shirt with dark grey pants. Black pants can be worn with light colored shades of blue and grey shirts. Dark brown pants go with pink and red shaded shirs. Golden brown pants with green and orange colored shirts. Violet colored shirts go best with white and cream pants. Blue also goes with white pants.Yellow shirts go with dark brown pants. If you have blue pants wear it with white shirt. Donot wear similar colored shirt and pants.
If you are wearing socks better wear socks which match the pant color.
